The Blog Complex

YBLalat says:

The more that she writes, the more naked she becomes; the more honesty, the more truth; and less layer of hypocrisy, and less layer of denial. The burden of a secret, a suppressed thought, if not vented, is a dormant Vesuvius to a girl blogger.

One of many interesting articles from a great creative writer, i would feel really wrong if i don’t submit this first. In this article, the author discussed the nature of blogging.

Men Peeing in the Toilet

very polite bugger says:

A little more stuff about this little business going on behind closed (toilet) doors.

Speaking from experience, ahem, (I’m a man!), those little inventions of sticking a bull’s eye circle in the urinal bowls may not really solve the problem of toilet “mis-aiming”.

A very well written piece :P

Gloomy Days Are Here To Stay

cloudy KLCC

Rene Enriquez says:

While my wish didn’t come true that last weekend’s weather would be fine and sunny, I was glad to at least finish a plein air sketch of the “Twins”.

It’s always nice to see someone painting the KLCC twin towers, no?

Corpse Pride

Derek says:

Needless to say, there’s also the lesson of good triumphs over evil, every time.

And so, it turned out to be a very gay movie for me, hence the title of this post.

A brief review on the movie “Corpse Bride” with a homosexuality insight. Spoilers alert.

Graduates have no job? Most of the time, you deserve it

bottle says:

I hate it when people complain complain without looking at themselves. What makes you think you are really deserving ar? So what if you are a graduate? Demand this, demand that. Without the right attitude, you won’t go any where, and you’ll just stay where you are, where you can complain kao kao and all you want.

All this talk about graduates not gaining employment leads me to thinking along the same lines as this fella. His own experiences should tell you how bad attitudes are, hopefully more people will wake up and smell the coffee.

The E-Mail Time Capsule

Forbes has come up with an 'e-mail time capsule'. Tech-no-geeks can now mail themselves an e-mail that will only arrive in their mailbox 5 to 10 years down the road::

From Oct. 24, 2005 to Nov. 30, 2005, Forbes.com will collect thousands of letters that our readers have written to themselves. And we'll deliver them up to 20 years later.

This is pretty innovative really. I’ll prolly forget about this 1 month from now, and if I programmed the thing to send me the mail 10 years down the road, I swear I’ll be spooked silly when it does arrive.

Kampung boys vs. City boys

Midnitelilly says:

I’ve been thinking about this for quite a while now, what with being back in the dating market and all… =p It’s strange, but not until this year did I start going out and meeting non-KLite guys and noticed a strange difference.

I mean, did you girls ever notice the difference when you date or go out with non-Klang Valley guys?

Town mouse, country mouse, what’s the difference? Hear it from midnitelilly.

Anti-biotic eggs!

Patrick Teoh says:

This sign outside the Isetan supermarket at KLCC made me spin on my heels. Chewable vitamins, cherry flavoured paracetamol, oral vaccines….what will they think of next? I know those billion $$$ drug barons are creative but this was just out of sight man. Now instead of swallowing tablets or capsules you can fry, poach, steam or scramble your medication.

This is proof that language-checking is necessary in every aspect of life.

A Short Flight North

It isn't every day that someone starts a blog to chronicle his experiences of living with aviophobia (fear of flying). Aviophobic is a fresh cut off the crop, and his blog is rather intriguing and educational:

I am writing this about six hours before my flight to Kuala Lumpur from Singapore. It’s just a short flight north but nevertheless a significant one becuase that would be my first since I started this blog as part of my effort to deal with Aviophobia or the fear of flying.

I bet Paul Tan missed this one out: Singapore's National Car

Wicked Samm takes a jibe at her singaporean friends

This Singaporean couple, happens to be an old acquaintance of hubby’s. They made their money short-selling stocks in the 90’s. Seldom mix with them though occasionally, they do call up asking us to join them for dinner, clubbing or party…. boring stuffs. From what i gathered from the short moment we sat together, they are now in the entertainment business. Maybe ran outta cash and had to turn Mamasan more likely.
