I grew up in a small town in Johor called “Kota Tinggi”. Its a small town, located about an hour north of the state capital of Johor Baru. It’s famous for 2 things mostly, The Waterfalls, and the beach resort of Desaru. Anyways, Kota tinggi is most definately a Kampung town by my standards. We don’t have a McDonalds and while I was living there, there were no cinema’s to speak of. One had to travel to the JB for that.
